Make a Gift

The RDS has championed the cultural and economic development of Ireland for almost 300 years, from making advances in science and agriculture to supporting emerging artists, musicians and craftworkers. We believe our work today, helping the next generation fulfil their potential, is more relevant than ever. If you do too, there are many ways you can support our mission – from making a donation to sponsoring an event or bursary.

Make a Gift

Aidan Chan, winner of the 2023 RDS Music Bursary, supported by Michael & Loret O’Brien

The RDS is fundraising across all our programme areas – agriculture, arts, enterprise, equestrianism and science, as well as the RDS Library & Archives. You can support this work in many ways, including a one-off gift, a regular gift, a partner in a programme area, or leave a gift in your Will.

To support one of our programme areas, a specific project, or if you are a company, trust or foundation, and wish to discuss partnership opportunities please contact Niamh de Loughry, Deputy Chief Executive – Foundation, at niamh.deloughry@rds.ie or +353 (0)87 431 9381.

If you are a taxpayer and make a gift of €250 or more, we can claim tax back on your gift that will go towards our work. For example, a gift of €1,000 from an individual Member could be worth an additional €449 to the RDS, at no additional cost to you. We will send you an easy-to-complete form that will help us to claim the tax back from Revenue.
