The RDS is mindful of issues of accessibility at all times and are dedicated to providing support to all visitors.

Parking for People with Disabilities
At the RDS there are car parking, facilities and venue access available for people with disabilities. We have a number of Disabled Car Parking spaces located in the Merrion Rd Car Park and in the Simmonscourt Car Park. These are available on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved in advance.
Venue
All of the of spaces in the RDS are wheelchair accessible:
- Halls 1 – 8 (bar Hall 5) are at ground level and are easily accessible
- All of the spaces located on first floor can be accessed by a lift
- All Halls have access to disabled toilets
- All meeting spaces are wheelchair accessible
For ticketed events, the wheelchair spaces and companion seats should be booked when purchasing your ticket from the relevant box office.
Accessible Toilets
Toilets for people with disabilities are available throughout the venue. All of which have an alarm pull cord system and are unisex. Our staff are aware that not all disabilities are visible.
Guide Dogs
Guide dogs are welcome in the RDS in all areas.
Special Effects
Some events at the RDS may include strobe lighting, pyrotechnics, smoke and other special effects. Please contact your Event Manager for details on any special effects expected at the event you are attending.
Hospitality
If you have an allergy or special dietary requirement please contact your Hospitality Manager. No food or drink purchased outside the RDS is permitted to be brought into the venue.
