"The RDS Music Bursary has been transformative to my professional development as a musician. The monetary aspect of the prize enabled me to move to London and fund my Masters of Vocal Performance in The Royal College of Music, the top conservatoire for performing arts in Europe. I would not have been able to do this had I not received this hugely generous funding. The Performance opportunities that come with the award are exceptional and have given me the chance to perform in many prestigious venues. I am incredibly proud to now be an ambassador both for this bursary and the RDS itself." - Ava Dodd, Soprano, RDS Music Bursary Winner 2020 and RDS Collins Memorial Performance Award Winner 2021.
