Johnny Sexton receives RDS Honorary Life Membership
Today, the Royal Dublin Society presented Irish rugby legend, Johnny Sexton with Honorary Life Membership.

The Royal Dublin Society was delighted to confer Honorary Life Membership to Johnny Sexton this morning at a ceremony at the RDS. The RDS Honorary Life Membership is conferred on people who have made a significant contribution to Ireland and Irish Life. First introduced in 1981, former recipients include Samuel Beckett, Rachael Blackmore, Prof. Ernest Walton, Carmel Fox, Dr Louis Le Brocquy, Christina Noble, Brian Friel, and Norma Smurfit. The RDS, Ireland’s oldest philanthropic institution, empowers and recognises positive social, cultural and economic change on an all-island basis.
