The RDS Committee of Arts, with a view to promoting emerging writers, partnered with The Stinging Fly Magazine to provide a residency bursary for the duration of the Dublin Horse Show in 2018. The Stinging Fly is an Irish publishing house that focusses on supporting emerging creative writing talent. Ian Maleney was the inaugural RDS Writer-in-Residence.
Join us to hear Ian read from his piece inspired by his experience of the Show before joining a panel to discuss the work, the Show, and the RDS Writer-in-Residence project as well as his experience and his future plans.
Brendan McArdle will Chair the discussion and host a Q&A session. Brendan is a well-known Equestrian Commentator and possesses a wealth of knowledge on the Show and the equine industry.
The above event is free of charge and open to all, but online booking is required.
