Due to demand this event has been moved to the RDS Concert Hall and more tickets have been made available.
Registration begins at 7.15 am. Breakfast served from 7.30am.
For this seminar we are delighted to welcome Mr Philip Moynagh to present his perspective on planet wide economic development, on the part we each play in it, and on the consequences of current trends to the life of our children.
Philip is Co-Founder and COO of grapheneXL, an Irish company created to enable the extraordinary potential of the recently identified wonder material, Graphene. Before grapheneXL (previously known as Carbongistics), Philip was with Intel for 25 years with roles including Vice President of Internet of Things (IoT), General Manager of the Invented-in-Ireland Quark Product line, and Manager of multi-Billion euro Silicon Chip making factories in the US and Ireland. He is considered one of the leading figures in putting the country on the map in the IoT revolution.
His talk will be framed in three parts. He will open by sharing data ranging from trends in human lifespan and death by violence, to trends in net income and human happiness. He will then provide analysis of the technological underpinnings of these trends with a framework to help understand them. He will close with some challenging questions on what this means for us, for how we live life, for how we conduct business, and for how we advise the next generation.
All the talks at the RDS Economic Vision 2020 Series are free to attend.
