ADMINISTRATIVE EXECUTIVE

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Operations, key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate records and files for the Department (for example ISO certification documentation, fire safety, annual service contracts etc);

• Assisting with administrative tasks such as contracts and insurance for maintenance jobs, ensuring they are in compliance with the Departments Procurement Policy;

• Producing roster sheets for the RDS Event Staff in line with the Events calendar in compliance with working time legislation;

• Compiling hours of work for weekly outdoor staff for the Finance Department to ensure accurate payment of wages.

The successful candidate will be a good team player capable of working independently on his/her own initiative.  Good communicator with a proven ability to prioritise and complete tasks efficiently and accurately.  At least three years’ relevant administration experience with a good working knowledge of Dropbox.  A working knowledge of AutoCAD and Health & Safety would be advantageous.

HORTCULTURIST

Applications are invited from suitably qualified professional horticulturists, with practical gardening skills and relevant practical experience, to become part of a busy team.  Applicants must demonstrate good plant knowledge and plantsmanship. A flair for designing stylish seasonal planting schemes for beds, borders and diverse containers, implementing and maintaining them to a high standard would be necessary skills.

MARKETING EXECUTIVE – Maternity Cover

 Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the responsibilities of this role include:

• To provide a support role to the Marketing and Sales function;
• Support execution of the Marketing Plan for the annual Dublin Horse Show (DHS) and RDS Venue;
• Assist with RDS website management and manage social media content.

The successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. He/she will be a credible, confident, motivated individual with proficient proof reading skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels.   The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation and presentation skills.  At least two/three years’ experience in a Marketing and Sales role supported by a relevant third level qualification.
