NOTICE
Please note that the RDS Library & Archives will be closed from 9 April to 2 July 2013 to allow essential maintenance works. There will be no borrowing service for RDS Members and no researcher service for Guest Readers during this time. Members will be able to borrow 20 books to cover the period of closure and newspapers will be available in the Members' Bar. The RDS Library's collections of books, journals and manuscripts are of interest to people engaged in research in areas such as the arts, science, agriculture and industry. Also, the RDS minute books and index of Members are valuable sources for researchers engaged in genealogical research. Access to material is easy as the collections are held on site. Members of the public engaged in research are welcome to use the RDS Library collections and can do so by obtaining a Guest Reader's ticket.
Please note that researcher access to the RDS Library's collections is by appointment only.
