The online RDS Library catalogues contain the records of books, journals, pamphlets and many other items from the RDS collections.
The RDS Library is used by Members of the Royal Dublin Society and researchers interested in the social, cultural, agricultural and scientific history of Ireland over the last three centuries.
NOTICE
Please note that the RDS Library & Archives will be closed from 9 April to 2 July 2013 to allow essential maintenance works. There will be no borrowing service for RDS Members and no researcher service for Guest Readers during this time. Members will be able to borrow 20 books to cover the period of closure and newspapers will be available in the Members' Bar. The collections of the RDS Library reflect the Foundation interest in the areas of science, agriculture, industries and arts. Access to material is easy as all collections are held on site.

The RDS Library has been part of the Royal Dublin Society since the Society's foundation in 1731 and is still contributing to learning after 280 years.
Members of the public engaged in research are welcome to use the RDS Library collections and can do so by obtaining a Guest Reader's ticket.
