About the venue
The flexible RDS Concert Hall is a unique venue for conferences, meetings, lectures, seminars, graduation ceremonies, gala dinners and exhibitions. Recently a complete aesthetic and technical refurbishment of the RDS Concert Hall has been completed.
The aesthetic refurbishment includes a completely new seating rig, floor resurfacing and polish, new lighting and updated interior decor for the entire Hall.
On the technical side we have installed a comprehensive new Audio Visual system which includes state of the art sound and video equipment (A further fully detailed technical spec is available on request).
As the RDS formally housed several of the RDS Library’s important collections today bookshelves remain which run the full length of the Concert Hall. So for the Acoustic treatment several reflective panels have been introduced around the room including:
- Side Panel to Cover Bookshelves (These can be removed to reveal the bookcases)
- Stage Reflectors and
- Overhead Reflectors
