The RDS STEM Learning Programme is an innovative and interactive professional development programme aimed at developing primary school teachers' pedagogical and conceptual knowledge of science and mathematics.
The goal of the RDS Foundation Science and Technology programme is to encourage the development of science and mathematical skills in primary school aged children by fostering education innovation.
Now going into its eighth year, the RDS Primary Science Fair will take place in January 2017 in both Dublin and Limerick. As a non-competitive forum, the RDS Primary Science Fair showcases STEM investigations undertaken by primary school classes across Ireland. The investigations encourage the children’s innate curiosity to explore the science behind the everyday.
Inaugurated in 1899, the Boyle Medal continues to recognise scientific research of exceptional merit and remains to this day Ireland's premier science award.
