Kim Mawhinney, Head of Art at Ulster Museum will de-mystify Visual and Applied Arts and help you overcome any fears you might have, reassuring you that you don't have to like everything to enjoy art and to have an appreciation and sense of intrigue and the desire to learn more is enough.
She will show examples of private art collections and explore the American model of supporting young and emerging artists.
Kim will have lots of images and examples and there will be a Q&A afterwards and a private tour of the RDS Visual Art Awards.
